Jayden 1
« Jayden, softly » (permalink)

Taking a break from the Ireland pictures... I went to visit my family for Thanksgiving. While there, I took a good number of pictures of my niece, Jayden. Well, more accurately, my great-niece--that makes me feel so old. :-) Not having any children of my own, it was a new experience chasing a 2-year-old around with a camera. She was bursting with energy, constantly.

I'm going to post my favorites from that shoot. As I don't usually do portraits, candid or otherwise, I would appreciate any feedback on these shots. FYI, for this shot and some others I did of her, I purposefully made them a bit soft because I wanted to play with that effect for a portrait. Thanks in advance.
